Situation: me eating nasi grg before going to work.

Maya: mama, u are eating again? 😮. U eat a lot.😮
Me : im hungry
Maya: u eat a lot, then u'll be a potato, then your tummy will be big, then u will have me in your tummy again!! *start giggling

Rasa nak picit mulut dia. Spoil my appetite.

Stormy and windy Spring...or is it summer now???

I have been going in and out of my blogspot trying to decorate the page and also to put all the blogger's links so that it'd be easier for me to visit. After few days, I am still lost. I can't just figure out on how to do that!! OMG, apa sudah jadi makcik. Anyway, today the sun is so bright I feel i can just survive on solar power. One plan after another keeps popping up in my head. I should go and tidy up the flower beds outside. Maybe put in new flowers. The strawberry field needs to be cleaned up and replanted. The vegetable field also need TLC for new season. Planning to have potatoes, cabbage, beans and sunflowers there. The new garden furniture we bought last April is still standing on the balcony with no use. The weather has been bad. Storm after storm keeps coming..now it is so windy that the chairs were blown away. Have to ask the kids to go and pick them up. Mushroom Hunting And Memories of My Childhood

          Picking mushroom was something I enjoyed doing when I was a little girl. Going around in the rubber plantation with my little brother and cousins, trying to find dead rotten rubber trees that might had mushroom on was one of our activities during rainy season. Our favorite that time was kulat sisir. Another favorite was kulat taon as we called it. Kulat taon is best to make clear soup with onion. I could see see and smell it until now. I love the smell of earth after rain and mushroom often gives me that pleasure. The forest and earth smell they have, give me a kind of joy I still don't understand until now. It is not the same joy when I go to the mall and buy something I like or something I wish for. It is just a different kind of joy. My father knows how much I love kulat sisir, so he will go in the rubber trees areas to find them for me every time I go home to Malaysia. Or he will got to pasar minggu in Tasek Gelugor to buy it.
